AI tools and software, like those used by Copysmith.ai, can be thought of as the receptors and nerves in the human body, such as the fingers, eyes, and nostrils (If you Still don’t get it, it might be over for you). These receptors and nerves gather information and send it to the brain, which is like the model used in AI. In the case of Copysmith.ai, the “OpenAi” technology serves as the “brain” that gathers information about products and generates accurate and engaging descriptions.
Ai Institute Launched In South Africa – December 2022
“Remember Ai and Automation is Cheaper & Doesn’t take days off”
Copysmith.ai uses a version of GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) model which is developed by OpenAI, a leading research institute in the field of Artificial Intelligence (Not a Sports field). GPT is a transformer-based neural network architecture (Big Computer Brain) that is trained on a massive amount of text data to generate natural language (To Speak like a human). It is trained to predict the next word in a sentence, based on the context of the previous words. The GPT model can be fine-tuned (re-trained using the tasks and processes from your current job) for various natural language processing tasks, such as language translation, text summarization, and in Copysmith’s case, product descriptions generation.
“If you think your industry won’t get disrupted…then close this window…bye”
In this BLOG i will be looking at tools like copysmith.ai and I have broken them down into these major categories.

- Logic and Analysis Industries
- Factory Automation – We look at Amazon Fulfilment Robots & Tesla Manufacturing.
- Creative Industries
- Storage & Curation – We look at Kive, Google & Microsoft.
- Digital Art & Media – We look at Copywriting, Voice Editing, Image Editing, and Video Editing tools.
- Combo Industries
- The Combination of Logical and Creative Jobs: At the moment I havn’t found platform that caters directly to these industries
- …But GPT 3.5 and the coming of GP4 promises a broader field of understanding by the Ai, like really broad, so broad in fact that some say its the broadest, but seriously GPT 3.5 can answer questions in general law, accounting, coding, and anything in University or High School. So if the next iteration is wider, thicker, and bigger, what will it be able to do.
- Here are some possibilities for GPT4 (Possible Release Range March to June:
- The Ai will be able to Access the internet making it more current and accurate (Big Win if this happens).
- Introduction of Text to Image and Visa versa (Imagine Being able to upload an image and the Ai writes the Instagram post for you based on the images meta data and the information it knows about you, what you usually say in your posts etc.)
- A larger Data set – this simply gives the Ai more brain power as it now has more knowledge.
More Content is still coming as I have to use the software before reviewing it. 14-01-23
The Tools
Storage and Curation
This has to be one of my favorite areas in the ai space because at the moment we can now create more content. For education marketing etc. but we still have to store it in a very archaic folder system like Explorer, Finder or Online Drives which have the same functionality but are cloud based like OneDrive, Google Drive and DropBox.
The next logical progression projection is a file system enhanced by the image recognition capabilities of Ai. Before stumbling on this software I imagined a file system that could tag your content, and then based on trends scraped on the internet by another ai, help you choose the right marketing material.
This would then communicate with an application like CopySmith.ai to create the captions and tags for the ad or post then communicate with a scheduling software like Hootsuite to create a seamless, minimal use of humans marketing cycle.
Image and Video Curation
Kive.ai
Unfortunately Kive doesn’t really do it for me – The Ai tagging isn’t clear at the start – I’m testing it as I write this post, and this sentence. The problem lies in its promise and my expectation – for one if you add the suffix ai to your brand then it has to be at least from the first impression at least more intelligent than most the software’s used in its industry. The ability to tag bulk images is available in both Microsoft One Drive and Explorer as well as finder.
Together with Adobe bridge on every content creators dusty shelf Kive doesn’t do anything new , when you click get started you are prompted to upload an image – then you have to tag it – which sort of defeats the purpose – and yes I know it does further tagging and those initial tags could be there as an initial guide, it just makes it seem like a step backwards especially because there doesn’t seem to be an option for bulk upload.
Then the crème of the crop the video frame tagging – I uploaded a 2 minute video and it used up all 300 credits that were left and it tagged everything from circles and rectangles and it once again just doesn’t seem that intelligent and the video was the speed lapse of the creation of the same video. I would have expected the ai to recognize what’s going on through reading the frames then export or tag only frames that look useful for marketing then recognize that the only image and the only video in my library have similar artworks – so when creating the boards, projects and marketing packs lets group this content.

Full disclosure, Kive is actually quite disappointing. I signed out after a few minutes – it seems they haven’t cracked the curation code yet.
Google owns DeepMind which is possibly Open Ai’s biggest competitor. Currently google has no commercially available consumer facing product that implicitly uses Ai. however, they have used the Ai to optimize their data centers allowing for fast loading of search results and YouTube video.

Google‘s Future
I am really hoping that google drive employs a curation overlay on their cloud storage for an intuitive content retrieval experience. Curation is already part of the ai’s process and this tool would use far less computing power than text ad image generation tools.
Microsoft
Microsoft basically owns open Ai – the most popular Ai Research institute slash For-Profit Ai company. At the moment they haven’t made any significant OpenAi integrations besides the ability for Start Ups to use Open AI’s API’s in Azure which is their answer to amazon’s AWS.

Microsoft‘s Future
Imagine having the ability to control your PC apps using voice control and the computer can reply logically with a natural language voice synthesizer. We can stop right here, game changed. This is not a pipe dream, some developers are creating tools that are performing similar jobs on their Word processing apps using the technology that one of the biggest Word processing company owns.
This could be a data gathering exercise to see what is really working in the market and then double down on that. From the interviews with investors and Microsoft execs it sounds like no one is really sure as to how to integrate Open Ai into Microsoft products.
